3 Things Luxury Home Buyers Want In North Scottsdale
- Golf Course Views
- City Light Views
- Mountain Views
Many luxury buyers ($1M+) are looking for a vacation property to use part-time while golfing or relaxing in the fabulous Scottsdale weather. They look in North Scottsdale for the city light & mountain views.
For the purposes of this Blog, I'll say North Scottsdale really begins around Shea Blvd and runs as far North as the community of Desert Mountain on Cave Creek Rd. The elevation of North Scottsdale rises to about 2700 ft. which is quite a difference from the Valley floor of about 600 ft. This is why North Scottsdale gets the great "City Light Views". It's really quite amazing to look down through the valley & see the city lights below.
The "Mountain Views" are absolutely stunning! However, from downtown Phoenix or downtown Scottsdale you wouldn't even know these Mountains exist. Oh sure, you might get a glimpse of Camelback or Mummy Mountain but these are not the same as the McDowell Mountain Range or Pinnacle Peak. Once your up into the communities of McDowell Mountain Ranch, Grayhawk, Troon, Desert Highlands, Estancia, Troon North, all the way up to Desert Mountain-you'll see the difference in the landscape, vegetation, scenery & everything. Of course you will see the "Mountain Views" everywhere.
"Golf course views" may happen in just about all of the communities I mentioned above. North Scottsdale is famous for golf courses & gated golf course communities.
If you're thinking of buying a luxury home in North Scottsdale, is it expensive?? Well......it's not the least expensive real estate in the valley. However, you can get a great (really great) condo with all 3 things luxury home buyers want for about $500,00. If you want a fabulous single family residence.....the sky is the limit on price.
