Does The FHA Loan Limits Affect You

The Federal Housing Administration recently announced that as of January 1st 2014, single family housing loan limits will be reduced in many counties across the United States.

Here in Maricopa County the loan limit will be reduce from $346,250 to $271,050 for FHA. THis is to reduce the risk of potential defaults on higher loan amounts. However buyers do have other options, many lenders offer a 5% down conventional loan. If you are unsure of your options, talk to a professional who can guide you.
