I go out to eat for a quick lunch most days during the week. I like to be out and back, quick and have a decent meal. Just recently, maybe 4 weeks ago, a Chipotle Mexican Grill opened less than a mile from our Solutions Real Estate office in Carlsbad California. I had eaten at Chiptle before, though the food was good, but where I was it was just not convenient to go there on a regular basis.
So, my first visit provided me a business lesson that i think we can all benefit from, no matter what business or industry we are in. So, I get to the counter, order a salad, select my beans, my meat, my salsa, cheese, and sour cream. I see guacamole, so I order it too. The server says that will be extra. I asked how much and she said something like $1.79... I was a bit disgusted because I don't really ever like to be up sold, so I said never mind. The manager was there and told her to give it to me anyways... For starters, I was satisfied with how much guacamole they gave me. But the real lesson in all of this is... I have been back to that Chipotle at least 8 times, and every time since then I have asked for the guacamole. When I order it, I even say something like, "I will have the guacamole for an extra charge."
That simple gesture and business decision is one we can all learn from. What can we do, in our own business, regardless of what business it is, to give up a little to make a lot? Just yesterday, I was shared a story, and in the story there was a comment or a quote that said something about making decisions to run your decision for a quarter or a century and don't make decisions for the quarter. Think about it for a moment, it makes a lot of sense.

When, after looking at many, many possible properties, he took us to the home we purchased and made that experience go so smooth.......we needed to close in 3 weeks, which we did, and he walked everything thru quickly and all went simply great. We also had Mark Ulloa help us buy a small house so our kids could live close to us. This also was done expertly and with ease. I couldn't think of any other Realtor who could have handled our needs any better.

We met Mark Ulloa from online ads and were trying to start the looking/buying process ahead of coming to Casa Grande to buy a house.
